Title: Ford C6ZF-B 4V carb, A/T Original-----SOLD------
Post by: priceless on November 17, 2017, 02:11:03 PM
I have an original Ford C6ZF-B 4V  "A" engine code carburetor. Excellent condition. Has correct boosters (see photos). This is a very clean and undamaged carburetor.  Was rebuilt several years ago, but could probably use a cleaning and freshening up. Has a bottom flange casting date 7-27-64.
$245.  Free shipping.
PM if interested, or need more photos of inside of carburetor or any other details.
Rich

Date 7-27-64.

That date doesn't correspond to a C6 carb.

That may be the housing casting date. My C5ZF-F 4100 has a date of 9-1-64 on the bottom. It's not the assembly date.

I sent Bob Mannel a message on eBay and I copied and past exactly what he wrote me back:

Yes. The casted in date on the body has little meaning as to when a carburetor was released. It only means that the basic casting of the carburetor was still being used. Bottom line, your carburetor is legit. The C6ZF-B was an early 1966 Autolite 4100 and still using the basic body introduced in 1964. Bob Mannel
