Subject: Need an I6 6cyl Emergency Brake Shoe Bar PIN (Used Original).. What I need here is the Small 1" inch long Steel Pin that secures the I6 Rear Emergency Brake bar to the Rear Brake shoe. It is usually secured with a small bendable "U" clip and friction washer. I just need a good Used Original Rear PIN for the Rear Brakes...It holds the Emergency Brake cable bar to the Rear Brake shoe.

PS: I think the technical name for the pin(s) is the "Parking Brake Lever Pivot Pin" to be more correct....
Is the I6 pin the same as the V8 pin????

I might. What part# do you have for the V8? Also a pic of what you are looking for will help.

I had the MPC open . . .
If you are referring to the lever (which includes the pin).
it's a "2A637-8 Lever Parking Brake Cable to Secondary Brake Shoe".
Looks like I6 and V8 are the same but they are different by drum sizes.
10" brakes are C9ZZ-2A637-A / C9ZZ-2A638-A (RH/LH)
9" brakes are C9ZZ-2A637-B / C9ZZ-2A638-B (RH/LH)
A length of the item might help here.

The 10" brake lever on V8 cars did not have a separate pin like the 9" brake lever on 6 cylinder cars.

Here's a pic...!! I found one in my garage...but I'd still like to find a source/supplier of these for the future...for I6 cars.
Sorry, but I forgot to measure it before I installed it today...
