Title: Spring saddles
Post by: RoyceP on March 20, 2021, 08:46:46 PM
These came off a 1968 Cougar GT-E and appear to be original. I couldn't find any date code, just what appears to be a maker's cartouche and FOMOCO copyright logo.

Royce, no dates on the spring saddles I have a set from a July build and they are the same but different supplier mark  ( M-S) this part went to a round FoMoCo in 69.

Mine is a February 1968 Dearborn car. Both of them are identical.

Here is a 34 post (as of this post) discussion for reference.  Perhaps they should be merged.  If merged we would need to open up the title from 67 to 67-68, but it does already venture a bit.

That is a very confusing discussion IMHO. Maybe a better approach would be to identify individual photos and separate into years being discussed. That one is very hard to follow.
