Title: F70 X 15 Firestone sport 200, Good or Bad?
Post by: robz64 on June 17, 2021, 01:35:24 PM
Hello to All,

I'm hoping that someone in the forum can give me some great advice on the Coker Brand Firestone F70 x 15 Sport 200 repros.  Has anyone driven on them for a 67 390 Fastback and your impressions.  I will be driving the car and showing it, not MCA showing, local shows.  I live in NY so all the roads are in poor shape for the most part. I'm planning on taking 2 hr drives here and there on the open road, of course. Thank you for your time to answer me on this important subject.

Rob

I can't speak definitively on these particular Firestones, but if they're bias ply tires, ANY brand of radial will ride and drive better.

If you're not putting them on for judging, then I'd suggest going with a modern, name-brand radial in the appropriate size.

Thank you. I agree with both of you.  I found the New Goodyear polyglas 70/14 radials for Kelsey.  They would look great with a black steel wheel? Thoughts on that please. I know they were not the choice for the 67 GT fastback, but I believe the 68 had those?
