Title: 70 mustang fender rubber

How many of you guys have seen this before.I was cleaning up this weekend in the garage and found these rubber bumpers that i had  saved  during teardown of a boss 302 that was very orig.and had never been apart.

Who knows where they were on the car?

They were used on the edge of the cowl panel near the fender.

I have torn apart a few 69 70mustangs and this was the first time i had seen this. Maybe more common than i thought.
