Good news...I won an auction for a 20 foot Montrose enclosed trailer at Mecum Indianapolis. I'm now looking for transport of it to either Charlottesville VA by next Friday May 19 or to Charleston SC anytime in the future. The trailer has to be picked up by Monday or Tuesday May 22 or 23 in Indianapolis.
I currently have the jobs listed on uship but it's been slim pickings so far.
Any help including leads is greatly appreciated.

Hmmm...if I were to pick it up, it might get "lost"!
Just kidding!
Congratulations on the WIN!!

David, congratulations I have a 20' Montrose trailer you will be very happy with it.

Thank you. I'm looking forward to using it in the future. What do you use to tow your trailer? And is there a need for a weight distribution system to more safely tow the trailer? Can one even be used with this trailer?

I tow with a Ford E250 van that I ordered with the trailer towing package. Some of my friends use a F250 pickup equipped with the same options. We planned for towed loads up to 10,000 pounds. I would assume your 20 foot trailer is a dual axle type so tongue weight is not the problem of a single axle trailer. Another thought is whether the trailer can be used as a "camper".

The Montrose 20' trailer only weighs 2050lbs.

Did you include the weight of the air inside?

Aw c'mon...simply vacuum out the air and save all that weight!

Here's the trailer. I got a guy on uship with great reviews to haul it to my place quickly. Wasn't cheap but neat me having to drive the 18-20 hours round trip time plus gas to get it myself.
I hooked it up empty though I didn't vacuum out the air and the tongue weight was only 100 pounds. I'm guessing I could really adjust where the car is to keep the tongue down low or roughly 500 pounds.
As for camping, a number of people who saw the trailer for the first time mentioned the same thing.

What year of manufacture is your trailer ? Also when I mentioned trailer weight Im not sure what I quoted applies to your model.

It's a 2014 model. I called the new owner of Montrose and he said it should be about 2000 pounds as you said.
By the way, can you share a picture of how the 2 ramps are kept stowed under the deck? It appears there must be some sort of pin as there is a hole in the frame below where the ramps are stored, a hole in the ramps themselves, and a hole in the deck of the trailer.

And what are your rear jacks? Mine are frozen and don't move at all. Not sure why. The tube might be rusted frozen or the internal gears are rusted.
