Recently had an original '68 power disc brake master cylinder re-sleeved by apple hydraulics. They have to remove the flare seats to do this and sent them back with the re-sleeved unit. They used a drywall screw to remove them, so I can't re-use. I have a rebuild kit, so was going to do that part after the re-sleeve. The problem is the rebuild kit I have does not have the flare seats. The reply from apple hydraulics was that the flares come in the rebuild kits, which obviously mine doesn't. Searching for other rebuild kits, I'm not able to find any available with the flares seats. Anyone know a source for these?

I haven't thanks, I sent him a message.

Charles, I can remember the kits I have gotten in the past came with the brass seats and a set of rubber check valves IIRC. The instructions did say to use a dry wall screw to remove the old seats. I may have one of the boxes.

Thanks. Web search for the Raybestos kit shows pics with the flare seats, but nobody has the kit in stock anymore :-(

I am, but I don't have them. I carry these tube seats because they're used in a number of the brake valves for which I sell rebuild kits, and they need to be removed to do the rebuild. Removal can damage them, so it makes sense to provide replacements.
