Title: 1964.5 mustang road draft tube hardware
Post by: macdude67 on March 31, 2010, 10:54:06 PM
Can anyone describe the 3 bolts that hold down the intake manifold mounted road draft tubes? I am looking for specifics regarding headstamping, washer type and coating. I am working with a June 14 1964 mustang with a C-4 and 260 V-8.

I'm interested also Brian, I've got a manifold mounted road draft tube also and I was going to refer to Bob Mannel's book but I loaned it out.

there are a few pics in Bob Mannel's book but no close ups of the hardware. I can say that the hareware that held mine down used a lock washer and and not a type of star washer like the bolts that hold down the throttle bell crank assembly to the intake manifold.

Sorry it took me a bit to find the box that had the ziplock with this in it. In the process of moveing and have everything boxed up. Same bolt X3.

Here you go, enjoy, cuss and discuss.
