Ralley Pac Clock -
« on: November 22, 2020, 05:57:29 PM »
Years back, I got about a dozen Ralley Pac clocks from a closed Mustang shop, mostly 67, but with a few 65 and 66 clocks included. (The main problem with most of those clocks was the main spring coil contacts were pitted but could be burnished clean for another decade of use. That technique worked on all but one that had its main spring off its pivot points.) Because the 65 and 66 were not identified (the 67 clocks were obviously different), I didn't pay attention to them.
But, I think I figured out the difference between the 65 and 66 clocks. The 66 version has a second hand, the 65 does not.
They are listed in the 60-68 Ford Car parts (aka MPC) as C5ZZ-15000-A for vehicles with indicator lights (the high profile) and C5ZZ-15000-B for cars with gauges (the low profile).
Just a heads-up reference.
Jim
The two clocks, -A and -B, will fit the 66 clock housing.

I promise to be politically correct in all my posts to keep the BBBB from vociferating.
