New reproduction parts
« on: November 29, 2020, 09:16:30 PM »
I was at Jeff Yergovich's new shop in Arkansas today and he was showing me some new parts that he has made. I thought some here may need some of these parts.

- 65-66 door plug seals $25.00 for a set of 4

- 65-66 suspension shims. They  are made of SS and are engineered off original shims. The SS is tumbled so it has the look of regular steel and not super shiny stainless. $3.00 each. A typical car will use approximately 24 . 0.1225 ,0.0665 and 0.036 are the sizes.

- Shelby or Mustang Compressor tags $60.00. You provide info and date codes . It takes 4 weeks turn around.

- 67/68 power brake booster tags $50.00

You can contact Jeff at jeff@r-amotorsports.com

I can also share a reveal.

1967-68 Mustang A/C center vents are being approved and going into production soon. Hopefully we are looking at summer of 2021.
Pebble grain and wood grain versions.

For 1967 it should have a brushed metal finish? If someone can confirm, I will verify that version is also being produced. Thank you.

1969-70 right and left ball vent assemblies are also in the works. We tested them several months ago. Different supplier, those should be here sooner, I think.

The brushed parts are inserts I believe.  If I recall correctly, the camera case are also inserts?

67 and 68 both used the camera case black insets for the standard interior.

Marty,The compressor tags are regular Mustang too. He also has the power booster aluminum tags.

Good to hear on both details.

Which compressor tags though? The ones screwed down with two tiny bolts or the Service Tag attached on the top with a 3/8" bolt?

Good that you asked as I needed to mention that the tags were the identification tag versions used in the 67/68 time frame on specifically York style compressors . The are the ones held on with the incredibly small hex head bolts

I hate this word "assume" but I assume Jeff has nailed down the date code configuration. The one Marty pictured looks to decode to May of 1968.

I also "assume" Jeff can configure these to be Date Code specific by the application at hand.

Any word if anyone yet reproduces the CORRECT triangular Service Tag (top of compressor)? There is a generic version circulating about and at a glance, looks good but details are horribly incorrect.

I don't think anyone is doing a correct top compressor tag.
