Radio Noise Supressor
« on: June 24, 2011, 08:03:52 AM »
On my MAR 66 C-Code ... I'm pretty sure '66's had the suppressor inside the alternator.

Do they also get one plugged into the wire with the red tag and screwed on with the Voltage Regulator?

OR  Is that female bullet plug just left empty?

The suppressor at the voltage regulator was supposed to be installed on all '66 mustangs with factory-installed radios.  The only difference from 65 to 66 in this regard was as you stated, suppressors were built into the alternators starting sometime during '66 production.
