At some point in time I've worked on all of those Fords. I recall seeing the suppressors on all of the models with radios.

Thanks, Richard.  Yes, I think all radio equipped cars used them.  It's just a matter of if the bracket configuration is the same.  I believe it is.

What about the ones for the alternator Brant?? any chance they will be done?? The one in the second picture looks like the bracket is in the center like the alternator condenser.....may be just the angle.....

I'm hoping that we will have them available for sale and shipment within 2-3 weeks.  I'll definitely post them on our Blog and here in the parts for sale section as soon as they are available.

Actually, we are working on the ones for the '65 alternator.  If these go over well, we will pull the trigger on the alternator ones.

Yes, I see what you mean on the second picture, but it's just the angle of the shot.

Thanks Brant! That would be great!  just hoping that you can see fit to get these done. understanding that there is really only a small (to me) amount of '65s AFTER Generator equipped and BEFORE the change in VERY LATE '65 to the '66 style with INTERNAL condenser.....

I see the regulator condensers available from time to time, but NEVER the alternator ones!

Thanks Again For All You Do For The Hobby!

Indeed, excellent job Brant! I will be ordering one for my 66 fastback and 67 coupe :).  But, back to the question that i believe Chris was asking, the ones correct for the generator cars. Did they have a suppressor on both the regulator and at the generator?? I didn't see either when I started my 64 1/2 restoration... Would absolutley want to buy these too. Anyone have any pics???? Perhaps Jeff?

The generator cars had one at the voltage regulator.  It is a bit shorter, the bracket is different and the wire end is  different.  I'm sure you could use this new one, but there are differences.

There was one for the generator too. I have one and pictures, just not with me (out of state now), will post when I can. The generator suppressor bracket is centered on the suppressor (vice at the end) with the cable the attaches under one of the nuts on the back of the generator. I can't recall for sure, but I think Manel's book may have a picture of the generator suppressor. I've just never seen an example of the type for generator equipped cars at the voltage regulator, so thanks Brant! If you have a pic of the end markings that would be great.
