Title: 69 fender question
Post by: tobkob on April 13, 2015, 11:12:11 AM
OK Guys,
I recently read a post that had a question buried deep in it about the color of the metal portion of the fender that the hood pin bracket attaches to. Is it supposed to be black or argent. I don't remember for sure but I think it would have been painted argent when the grille and headlight buckets were sprayed. Is this correct?
Thanks,
TOB

The metal section of the fenders that  faces in towards the center of the car is dark argent  or body color painted (depending on where the factory put the line originally) with the rest of the front end detail as a unit

Thanks Jeff. That is what I thought. I searched a couple of hours for the thread I was referring to but being buried in another subject I didn't find it again. Again Thank You for all your expert answers.
