Title: Does 67 4 speed have a shift boot retainer or not with console

67 manual trans car with console.
Do manual shift 67s with a floor console still use the chrome shift boot retainer?

good question , i need to know for my 4 speed 68 too ! what look a shift boot and how its mount for a manual trans !

I do not have time now to look in the assembly manual but I would say no it did not because the trim on the console took it's place.
