Title: Concours Mustang clock
Post by: tobkob on March 03, 2016, 11:35:31 AM: I have noticed the time and day on postings are off. Probably has to do with the outage a few days ago but I just noticed this morning some post I read around 10:00 Eastern are showing up as today's post. Right now it's 10:33 AM Eastern and the site clock shows 4:31 PM. ( Maybe I just overslept ;)

Post by: midlife on March 03, 2016, 01:22:00 PM: I went into my profile, and found my time setting was -1. I selected "auto-detect", which gave me -7. Things are now correct.

None of the other forums I visit seem to use the same time as where I'm located but is seems that some of you have chosen to customize your settings to compensate. Was looking at this last night and it appears I changed it some how by looking through the list :( was set on Africa/Abidjan so just changed it back

I see in the settings we've got tones of choices plus UCT but no GMT that I can see. Guess UCT might be the best choice or just leave it alone?

Showing now the "spring forward" time of one hour off (actual time 6:36am eastern, system showing 7:36am eastern at time of this post)

WHOLE lot closer!

It did the same for me until I changed my profile to auto-detect.
