Looking to replace my incorrect cap with a correct radiator cap. NPD has four different versions for a 65. Zinc, chrome, something else and a high pressure cap. Which one is correct for an Oct 64 SJ A code?

SMCO zinc plated would be most typical for your application.

Hi Guys,
I have a 65 Vert same plant same month. Just wondering if this Motorcraft cap is a service replacement or a factory installed unit or was it just an aftermarket item?
Thanks in advance
Dan

Service replacement since the Motorcraft line replaced Autolite in the 1971-72 timeframe if I recall correctly

+1 - service replacement

Thanks Guys.
Would it be of any use as a concours part for anyone? If so what models?

It is only good as a emergency spare relative to a 60's Mustang. That is still good to have for that reason.

This is the radiator cap I purchased for my May 8, 1964, Dearborn, 260v convertible. Is it correct?
