Hi folks,
any idea how to get further infos about the history of my 67 Convertible? I just know the martireport.

Thought is the only way you have, and that's a lot compared to 65-66 cars.!
We have no chance to get any info unless you know the PO.

Think this has been covered before. Marti report will provide where the car was originally sold to help start a search from the beginning end of the history. The following will work the search from the other (more recent ) end
1- Do you know where it was last licensed (sate) in the US? Some states will allow a history search. Many states will not have searches due to privacy and anti stalker laws
2- As I understand there are services out there (like private investigators) that will do a search, track down past owners and do on. Be aware that not all past owners will want to be contacted

And unfortunately some past owners are no longer with us. I know the original owner and the second owner of my 65 both passed on.

Yes and no
Their history only went back to about 1984 when I checked on my 67. I knew more about my car than they were able to supply information about when I did a search about 5 years ago.
There used to be a form and a fee for the search (5 years ago), I doubt much has changed but maybe it has? (hoping anyways) I could use info about mine for anything pre-1978
