Title: Medium ginger vs dark ginger
Post by: machm1970 on February 25, 2017, 12:33:02 PM
I'm restoring my '70 convertible, medium chestnut with a ginger interior, and I'm having trouble with the interior. I have at least 3 different shades of ginger, some may just be faxed from the sun. Can anyone help me with which interior components are supposed to be which shade?

Thanks,

Matt

A little confused (my fault long day yesterday)

Are you asking about soft parts (seats, door panels, dash, headliner ...) parts or the painted parts?

As for painted medium and dark ginger items  - Those are shown in the paint article in the library

Take note that many of the items listed were not originally painted but the information came from a source which listed colors and details for shops repairing cars during the period so in some cases they needed to paint different colored molded parts or to freshen up originals
