Posted these pictures over on another site and thought I should post them here also to help members.
Examples from both early and late cars. Don't currently see any differences between the production periods.

Thank you very much for your answer. One of my last questions before installing the stripes this coming weekend is what is the distance from the very front of the stripes on the upper BOSS front fender stripe straight back to the door gap?

Since I responded on the Boss site figured I should include all those pictures over here rather than leave it like I dropped the ball ::)

Sorry took a little while to get to the car and take some pictures. Consider that the measurement may be of a fraction given the thickness of the ruler and the angle. Bottom line - I hope this helps sorry its not an original paint and stripe car - just what turned up nicely IMHO for me
Measured along the top edge of the center thick part of the stripe

And an attempt to try to get the furthest edge. ::) Appears to me that the longest area was along the top edge
