Title: Fan shroud not used on non-AC '68 289's?

Been looking on a few vendor sites as the Cal Special has no shroud.  Many do not list a non-AC shroud for 68 289's.  Not used?

I'm the 2nd owner of a 67 SJ 289 Dec 66 build, mostly original when I got it (and getting closer) - no A/C no shroud. John

My 68 289 Metuchen no AC came with no shroud.

The shroud was part of the heavy duty cooling package, a stand-alone option and a bundled option with A/C. All 68 GT-350s came with the heavy duty cooling package hence, shroud) and I have seen 1-2 J-code GTs that had the heavy duty cooling package. Otherwise, no shrould on the small blocks.
