Title: 68 Fastback Parchment Interior Source
Post by: 68GTFastback on December 02, 2010, 09:24:08 PM
Can someone help me by recommending the best mfg/source for a 68 FB parchment deluxe interior kit? I have been told it's hard to match the original color. Should I paint the parchment trim after I buy the interior package to better blend the colors?

Guess the answer depends on how picky you are.  If you want absolute correctness, NOS vinyl could be bought and new seat covers made from it.  Door panels can be made with NOS vinyl also.  Otherwise, I would start with the repro seat cover set and match everything else to that shade.  Ford usually did a pretty good job of matching colors.  Unfortunately, aftermarket parts rarely match consistently.
