Title: AC Wire

How should the AC wire on a 65 fastback be routed that goes from the firewall to the compressor?  Should it follow the oil sending unit wire along the top of the valve cover or should it be wrapped around the AC hoses?  I've seen it both ways

It should follow the engine wiring lead.
