Thought I would post this here since all of these basically are the same
Found this mount in a yard last week and I don't recall the last time I had one clean up so well with so many of the factory details still there. So felt I should share.
First I have to report that these pictures do not come close to showing how perfect this thing is even after being on a car since 67 (out of a 390 San Jose car). Took a couple of minutes in a water based - heated cleaner and what you see (a little oil added for protection) is what you see.
Red Arrow - very dark wire feed weld and bluing
Blue Arrow - darkened spot weld and lighter bluing around weld
Green Arrow - machine marks (lighter) from forming the metal
