Here's a long shot. I have the Original Owners Manual that belongs to a '65 Silver Blue Coupe; VIN 5F07C709377. Other Codes are 65A Y 22 28R 61 6 6.
An old photo suggests that it had a Black Vinyl Top, Rocker Moulding and I can see a Radio, Under-dash AC and Center Console through the Driver Door.
If anyone happens to have this car, I have your Owners Manual.

Cool idea. Good luck with the search! 8)

There really should be a database somewhere for those who are in possession of owners manuals and engines blocks etc so current car owners can find them..

I bought the original owners manual for 5F08T673896 at a swap meet.
It has all the original sales info inside, ( the original owners name and address, the dealer name and location , key codes, data plate info, as well as hand written notes of maintenance and repairs up until Nov 1984.
Here's the basic info:
Poppy Red convertible with parchment and black interior
6 cyl / auto , scheduled build date March 23 and sold on April 1st in Columbus, Indiana
One note of interest, the engine was overhauled in 1972 at 47,000 miles
If the current owner contacts me, I'll see that they get this back.

Great idea, hope you are able to reunite the book with the car. That car is "close" to mine which is 7660XX and 65A Y 22 21T 36 6 6.. My car was sold in Rockwood, Tennessee but the dealer is gone. If anyone has any info on the Ford dealer in Rockwood, I would be thrilled to hear from you.

I have the same problem, Original Owners Manual Looking. We were the original owners (well my mom was) of a 66 Couple I6/200. I recently sold the car (prob never should have for sentimental purposes), we moved and I found the owners manual. I understand the car has changed hands again and the guy that I sold it to "doesn't remember" who he sold it too... That's another story/sore subject.
Good luck with your search.
