Title: Information on a 70 BOSS 429 Grabber Blue
Post by: 67gtasanjose on May 04, 2014, 07:45:27 PM
How many Grabber Blues were made for 1970 that are unaccounted for as of today?
I have some of the story of one that went to the car crusher circa 1976 if it matters to anybody that is trying to track them. I do not have any numbers, only facts about how and when it "went away".  :-\

You would have to check with the guy/guys that are doing the registry fore the Boss 9's. They hang over at the Boss registry site

Thanks for the links, Jeff.
I'll probably not try too hard on this one, after all, it is a sad thing to know such details in the first place. The car had 10K and change on the odometer but looked to have been in the body shop more than on the road. I was 13 or 14 when I first saw the body, without engine and trans. Those had been placed into a dirt track racer running circles in Conneaut Ohio. I know more about the remains of the body itself. I heard the engine ended up with water left in it over the winter and broke the block.
