Title: 1989 gt muffler
Post by: Nightmist66gt on October 18, 2014, 11:06:14 AM
Hi guys,

I just bought a new clean set of original gt mustang muffler that i want to put on my original gt to replace the mac set so my question is ,is it 'correct' to have a factory 87 and 88 number part on the same car ?

I have a 89GT that I bought new and only has 6k miles on it.  The drive side muffler is E8 and the passenger side is E7.
the car was built late May 89.  Hope this helps.
