Title: Lake Mirror Concours
Post by: workhorse on October 21, 2014, 11:20:24 AM

Checked out the 3 day Lake Mirror Concours over the weekend. I had heard is was an amazing show and it did not disappoint. Reports of 40-45,000 people every year sure seemed like a low number Saturday. Mustang’s 50th was celebrated with a prime display of cars selected by Donald Farr including:

Original 64 1/2 pace car
Cobra R
68 Cobra Jet drag car
Early 65 GT 350
64 ½ K code coupe
66 K code GT FB with 13k miles
The first fox body, serial # 001
The last fox body made, both cars from National parts depot collection
Several Boss cars, Mach 1’s, race cars and a few modern Mustangs.

Also, I Didn’t see these it was early, but saw the signs
The 68 Shelby convertible prototype
The last Saleen sc coupe.

No pictures of my own but here are a few from the show site.

This is a great show. I have been there each year but one.

Definitely one of my favorite shows in Central Florida. There are about 600 cars in total, from nice daily drivers to full concours restorations. Saw a beautiful Duesenburg this year. Many beautiful Mustangs also.

I had my daily driver 2009 GT/CS in the Mustang "show within a show" and had a great time.

That's a sweet Boss2. I think that's Duke Clancy's 69 Mach1.
