defroster dash inserts

Was there defroster duct dash inserts on 69-70 cars AC or non AC  ,

Not sure what your describing. The defroster (with the ducts through the slots at the front of the dash pad)  was standard with both AC and Non AC Mustangs.

Yellow arrow indicates the defroster duct on a AC 69

Thank you for posting the picture, i was refering to the top of the dash where the lower defroster duct assy meets the dash pad, was there some kind of insert for each of the two openings on the dash pad that would connect with the defroster duct that you have pictured and would be installed from the top of the dash pad after the dash pad was installed,

     This is how the non AC dash defroster vents look on my car.  No inserts.  Brian

Thanks for posting the picture brian, that is what i thought they should look like, there is a guy over at the boss 302 site looking for defroster inserts that he says are missing,
