Early 64 Coupe on eBay #595
« on: July 29, 2015, 10:25:23 PM »
Very early coupe for sale on the E Bay:

Looks fairly straight, I'd love to buy this as a donor car... hmm maybe the next project...

I've only seen a couple of these cars with the ' U ' in the vin and one was trash and the other had a " T ' motor in it.  Is this car sitting on 13" wheels ?  Interesting that the seller has a reserve price.   Brian

Looks to have had some things changed along the way, was originally a manual but changed to an auto, didn't bother to change the brake pedal  ::)

Shouldn't have the toe pad on the carpet either.

How quickly do we turn to the fine details ;)

Looks like he wants $9,400.

Why a donor car?  That early production with the 170 still in it, I think it would qualify for a nice concours restoration...

The smaller manual pedal stood out to me too.  The car seems reasonably well done other than small stuff like that.  And those 13-inch wheels are TINY!
Too much junk, too little time.

Wish I had the money...I'd buy it warts and all.
