If I'm correctly understanding what you are searching for, there is one up for sale on ebay right now (ebay item#121690821245).

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1967-1968-1969-1970-Mustang-Shelby-Mach1-Cougar-Headlight-Dimmer-Switch-Bracket-/121690821245?hash=item1c5556927d&vxp=mtr

Hope it helps!!

That would be easy to fabricate, if they are hard to find and in any demand.

a VERY universal part on basically evey 60-70's (maybe longer) Ford product with a floor dimmer switch . You just need to ask the right people or scrounge around a boneyard. Pickup trucks are usually sitting around somewhere in your own neighborhood junkyard ;)

I've looked at the pictures, but I can't remember this part.  What exactly does it do?  Bolts to the floorpan to retain the dimmer switch?  I thought the dimmer switch bolted directly to the floorpan like on a '65-66?
Too much junk, too little time.

It's a plastic wire separator, C7AB-14A163-A. Ford calls it a "retainer" which you could say it does for the wires.

+1

Put simply, it holds the plug against the switch, and is held firmly in place once the switch is bolted to the floor. Keeps the plug from working loose.

Now it becomes clear.
