Hood latch support brace
« on: May 28, 2016, 10:53:09 PM »
Hi
Just painting the grill area on my 67 390 fastback and I wanted to know what colour do the bolts have to be on the hood latch support bracket that bolts to the rad support.
Also the colour of the "L shaped" round bar latch strike.
Thanks.

Bolts for hood latch support to radiator support, sticker and bolts that hold striker were phosphate and oil like the fender bolts

Hello,

A lot of my questions has been answered in this post.
Just to be certain : I don't know what the exact denomination is of the large 'bar' (hence the picture in attachment).
Is that also P/O?
Thanks for clearing that out for me.
kind regards,
Jeroen

The L shapped "bar" in the lower area and somewhat centered was originally P & O

Thx, Jeff!
My grille area is a bit adapted over the years and those items are now painted black.
Now I can re-do it, like it should be.
Kind regards,
