67-Only Red Dye Parts
« on: January 16, 2019, 01:56:14 PM »
I've just spent a few hours going through a number of "Safety Red Dye" posts and it appears that in 1967 the number of places red dye was used is extremely limited.

I see the front turn signal 'wire tie' has a red dyed look.
A replacement long brake line from rear d/b pressure regulator to heater area -- early 67 over the column style brake routing -- has red dye on the front tube nut.

And that's all I've found. Is the brake line correct? Any other uses of red dye on 67 cars?

This is the only thing I can think of, but it is probably more along the lines of a thread locking item than a dye to confirm something was installed and torqued correctly.
