69 NJ Running Change Thread - PS Pitman Arm
« on: June 30, 2021, 10:37:38 PM »
A member earlier today posted a finding on their car that suggested to them that the pitman arm on their power steering equipped 69 Mustang may have changed during the product5ion year so though I would start the discussion with a new thread. IF we find that they did indeed change we can expand ( in other threads) the survey to include SJ and Dearborn. Not sure how many I'm going to be able to submit since this is not a detail that is easy to see in most of the pictures I've seen.

The post that started this thread and discussion

Power steering Pitman Arm. I have an early built car with a C7ZA-3590-C part number and I have several later built cars with a C9ZA-3590-A part number. The pitman arms appear to be exactly the same other than the part numbers.
