Can anyone help me date this Polyglas GT Tire? Code is: MBUF  DLA165   Thanks, Andrew

Already saw it. That chart is kinda confusing. The best I could get from it is the DL might be Last week of Nov. 71 but I'm not sure if I'm reading it right compared to the full tire number..

I agree it can be confusing, from what I have read you have to concentrate on the last three digits, 165, which decodes to the 16th week of 1975, could also be 16th week of 1985 as the code is not decade specific.  MB is the Akron tire plant. Thanks for helping John. Thats the same answer I got from someone else also. I'll just keep it and display it, as I'm sure its not very desirable in that date range. Its a G60-15 sure would have been nice if it had a 70 date code, LOL.
