I had my clock restored and had purchased a Scott Drake adjustment knob. I had noted the hole was much larger than the original. When I reassemble the cluster I couldn't set the clock. On a recent inspection, I saw the knob just spins on the shaft. I found my original knob and saw a sleeve inside the original. Should the sleeve remain on the shaft? Or it is part of the knob? I thought perhaps one of you may have a clock or two in your spares or your cluster out where you could look at the shaft and post a picture if there is indeed some type of sleeve.
