Title: trunk fold down door color
Post by: bdietz on April 17, 2021, 03:16:46 PM
My car has the fold down rear seat and I need to paint the fold down door that connects to the trunk.  The part that is the inside of the truck when it is up. Does anyone know the correct paint. Its black, but I can't tell the finish, looks like satin, not glossy.   Is it the same black as the engine compartment?

Black would equal (like the rest of the interior painted panels) dark charcoal metallic. Its likely best described, when applied correctly, as almost an egg shell look. Apply too much and it will gloss on you and of course on other surfaces, fill in the grain. Both things you don't want
