Someone apparently got confused between regular Mustang and Shelby. Was it a national show? Typical very knowledgeable Shelby judging staff at those national shows . The smaller local shows have to depend on who ever volunteers. Typically the MCA Shelby judging staff will write their name and contact info on the judging sheet . At least at the national level. If so please PM me with that info . It would not be polite to publicly out them here.  It will be helpful to others so that at least this mistake does not happen again. I can bring the person or team up to speed of course in a respectful no confrontational way . I am sure they would appreciate the updated information as the judging intention is to be helpful and not hurtful.

Did it look like this only in nicer condition? Also found on Cougars if I recall correctly

Yep you have your confirmation but think of it like this, might help, there are likely a half dozen things that they didn't discover that they could or should have so consider it a wash and hopefully the team or individuals will learn something for when they judge yours or other 69 Shelby's in the future

Thanks Jeff......I have no problem with the judges they were great to work with.....I had my car judged knowing it would get hammered as it was restored early 90's.....I wanted to know what things were easily corrected

I was just surprised by this deduction since I had asked all you guys for the correct knob to get before it was judged. ;D

The knob locknut is different between the 2 knobs also as the cougar shelby knob takes the thin nut.
