Can someone please try to id this part, which must have been on my 69 Metuchen Mach1 sometimes in the past:

It reminds me of the seals around the windshield wipers.

Its sheet metal and no, it has a different size and hole pattern as the seals of the wipers.

Don't know that I have a picture of the area but don't have a 69 disassembled at the moment. Not sure if matches but maybe (a big maybe) the visor mounting bracket that would have been welded to the interior roof????

Not allot of brackets and mounts that have three anchor points that I can recall on a 69 Mustang

It must have come from the engine compartment/firewall. I can only hope its not for reinforcing the firewall where the m/c is bolted on because its already installed... :o
I will check the roof anyways...

Don't think it can be related to the master cylinder area. Just doesn't match up
