Hand Truck Style Fork Lift
« on: December 17, 2018, 08:28:40 PM »
Last year I threw my back out again wrestling around engine blocks.

I needed something that would help me (and my back) move and lift heavy stuff.
We have an auction house in our area that deals with light industrial and office.

I've been looking for something like this and finally ended up a winner!
It lifts from 3" to 57", can lift 800 pounds and isn't much bigger than an appliance dolly. It has a hydraulic ram.

My back loves it as I cleaned the diff and removed all the brake hardware on it all while standing up.
[this one is called a Stacker].

I think my back could use one too.

Here is a slightly shorter one for a decent price. Depends on how much your back hurts as to whether or not this is of value.

The reason I posted this is that I never knew these things existed. I was almost ready to make one out of a hand truck and then saw one at auction.
