67 GT350 fan pulley and crankshaft pulley
« on: April 25, 2018, 12:08:53 AM »
On my 67 Shelby, non-T/E, no A/C, w/PS (with date noted in my sig) I'm seeing the following pulleys:
Crank pulley C7AE-6312-A (double sheave)
Fan Pulley C5AE-8509-B (single sheave)

Mannel agrees with the crank pulley, although Jim's spreadsheet lists the 67 289HP as a C6OE-6312-A for the double sheave.

Mannel is silent on the fan pulley (or I can't find it), Jim lists this as a standard 289 part with no mention of a 289HP part at all, and my add/delete is also silent.

Correct numbers? Are the pulleys dipped or sprayed?
Gotta love those 67s especially when Shelby is involved!

I'll take the each part of the question since I'm going out the door.

Pulleys were sprayed. You can often find some examples with bare metal in the center where they attach (talking all pulleys) but not in all cases

The waterpump pulley is single sheave. It is not a hipo part . The reason why it is not on the delete sheet is because it is not special and the same as on a regular Mustang so it didn't require special instructions. I have seen C5OE-A single sheave pulley. Thermactor is double. I agree with Jeff on how the pulley's were painted for the same reasons.

Thanks for the confirmation!

I was asking as the MPC on fan pulley says -B, not -A.
All the dimensions in the MPC fit the -A.

All the dimensions in the MPC fit the -A.

Remember/consider that MPC are for parts that were available for sale at the time of printing. Not always what was originally installed ;)
