Is there a difference in these like the front ones?

So, Obviously a 64.5 clip on style regulator won't accept a late '65 or '66 style screw on handle then.....

The rear coupe/convertible window handles all have set screws, they don't clip on the early door handles or attach like the later ones.

This question would of course be regarding the front mechanism's only as Charles mentioned... But, to answer the question, they will if you drill and tap them. I have done this on a few before to retain a good Ford unit (just did it for my recent 66' coupe project as I had a perfect, early 65' regulator on the shelf). If done correctly, it works as it should and no one can tell.  ;)

The shape of the front and rear window cranks are different, it wouldn't be concours correct to use a front in the rear (only mentioning as this is the focus of this site).

Just to be on the same page. What I referred to is taking a 65' window regulator assembly , drilling and tapping it to be able to be used in a 66' coupe with the 66' screw on handle.

I agree with you Charles. Using the larger front handle in the back would NOT be correct nor look right, IMHO. And vise versa..
