68 wire and vacuum hose bundle strap

(1/4) > >>

warwick:
I can't pin down the part number or a source for this T-stud mounted 7" adjustable bundle strap with plastic tie rivet. My application is a 68 Cougar on the firewall where it bundles vacuum hoses and washer hose.

Has anyone seen a source for it? (AMK and Auveco don't have).

Thank you

That's a different strap than Mustangs used. Think you already found that out. Don't believe anyone reproduces it. Might dig up the original part number and do a search to see if anyone has got a package  of originals floating around. Not sure if they are used on T Birds but you might want to check that possibility also.

That looks very similar to what is used on 1968 Mustangs to me.

A few more pictures of Spring 1968 built Dearborn Mustangs attached.

I have no idea where to find one though.

As it pertains to the flat retainer of the metal firewall post try NPD 2022 edition of their catalog pg. 228 first column under wire harness . They are part of a kit.

The one used in 1968 (and 1967 thru 73) is 374320-S and is 4 inches long. The original post stated 7 inches long. AMK shows the strap without a retaining pin.
