Title: '65 Mustang Limo
Post by: C5ZZKGT on April 08, 2010, 07:17:04 PM
There is a yard full of older Limos near where I live and 1 is a White 1965 Mustang-it has been stretched and has 2 full size Mustang doors on each side, I haven't stopped to look at it yet-it looks a bit rusty.......I wonder if there is any interest in it? or is it just a white elephant??

It's good for parts if nothing else. I remember a write up in the '80s about a '65 or maybe it was a '66 that was turned into a Ranchero type vehicle. That one would at least be more useful. I think it was a vendor delivery "truck".

I'm actually thinking of stopping by to look at it up close and see exactly what it looks like, and may be the asking price..........who knows if its fairly solid and the original streatch was done right I might buy it if its reasonable.......

There was at least one Mustang shop that did these conversions as well as dozens of owners who (like converting Mustangs to station wagons) did the same - often using Falcon Ranchero's as donors

I'll keep my eyes open but it has disapeared from the "Limo lot" where it was in Cocoa, Florida, there are Limmos there from every manufacturer...Caddys made into 4x4s-all kinds of weird stuff.
