We have many rare cars coming to this event and motel rooms are filling up with only a few discounted rooms left deadline is august 15th!
-
We sold out our 100 room motel reservation limit but we now have an extra 10 rooms at discounted rate and extension to sept 1.

I need to get hold of my wife to make sure I am not in conflict with any of her plans that weekend ( our anniversary is the 8th) but if she's ok, put me down for a room! (yes, I know, I must register online).
On edit: REGISTERED for event & hotel. She said YES!
-
Ed noted in another post that this event INDOORS.
I don't recall such details when I registered.
-
Concours and display indoors and popular vote next to building in covered parking garage with plenty of room so depends on how u register and room for 500 cars but we will take what we get.
-
Will the event have name tags so that we can put our concourse Mustang Screen name and also the Boss 302 registry screen name? So often we go to these events and you miss out on seeing people that you have interacted with for years As you don’t know what they look like.

we never talked about name tags since most of us know each other in these parts we will introduce u to all the boss guys since u are the longest distance away.
-
Thanks Ed. Really looking forward to meeting everyone.

Mug shots might help...
I'm not afraid to post mine up.
We plan to drive & show my wife Julie's '05 GT convertible (typically in an O.D. class), the same one we took to Fredricksburg last year. Both Julie & the car are also pictured here.
-
Getting ready to leave, looks like we hit the road early afternoon...trying to dodge the weather patterns to drive the '05...not looking too promising at this point. (I am contemplating leaving it at home as I write this).
See you all there...looks like rain on Sunday in French Lick.
Did I ever mention that I need a truck & trailer? lol!
-
Not even two hours from home, looks like rain most of the way.
I sure hope the FORECAST over there holds out, our local forecast was DEAD WRONG about being dry if I left by 1pm
-
Looks like its going to be dry from 6pm on. ;)
-
All be safe please and have a great time

We all want pictures!Going a whole year without car shows or even pictures is torture. Please help all of us in distress. Thank you.
Scantily clad (and good looking) women would also be appreciated...

More...w/2 shots of Marty's GT350

THE MOST important images I have are of my wife's car and her awards. This event was our "15th Anniversary Get-away".
Her '05 got first place (of 2 '05-'09 cars entered) and we recieved some NPD Discount Coupons for being the furthest DRIVEN show car on the showfields.
-
Thanks to Ed and Jason and the many volunteers that made the show so much fun. It was our first SACC event and we were impressed.
Our car was the Acapulco Blue 68 GT 350.
-
Thanks for posting the pics. I was an awesome show & was glad I could participate. Our car is the Black Jade Boss 9 on the lift. Marty I briefly spoke to you at the awards ceremony. Wish I had more time to meet some others & put more names with faces.

Now I know who you are. I wish I would have known you were there. Your car was beautiful! BTW thanks for your help with our car.

We are planning another fall classic event this october 20 21 22 at french lick in. This concours show will be a combination of the IN saac spring fling and mid america tulsa judging using the offical mid america judging system just like last fall here and will be inside on lifts in a big carpeted building. See the january 2021 mustang times magazine story (concours in french lick) and you can see how the show was setup as many photos in that article. We are having a meeting feb 13th and would like to know how many people would be interested in going this year? This show is planned in october so we are hoping it wont get cancelled as by then everyone should have vaccine shots and no other car events going on then and its the peak of the Southern indiana fall color season and fall break week with lots to do and see in this area for the whole family. Last year we judged 20 cars on lifts inside and had many rare feature cars and the show was a huge success even thou we had to deal with all the covid restrictions the show went on. Unlike last year having covid restrictions on how many cars and people we could have in the big building this year we can have twice as many cars inside the building and plenty of room in the covered garages connected to the building. So how many people are interested in coming as after the meeting we have to have a contract with this resort and need to know if enought interest and everyone is invited so post here or contact the people involved asap ok ?
-
Wednesday, Thursday & Friday?
Seems odd.
-
Its the ONLY dates we were offered as the whole resort is booked the full year from event cancellation rollovers from last years covid cancellations. Also show will be cheaper rates than weekend rates since this is a BIG resort and the people from far west who travel can be home by sunday so they wont have to take off work on monday. When you have a fri sat sun event those who travel or haul a car a long distance cant always get home in time for monday AM work so they have to take off work going into the next week and being 9 months away they have plenty of time to plan there trip and make a family vacation trip out of it as there is so much to do and see in this area and your driving will be in peak fall color season.
-
Ed, don't forget to mention the Train ride, and the wild animal park.
Along with West Baden dome and Larry Bird's home.

-
