I located a set of rear leaf springs that were removed from a 70 boss 302, they are a complete original set, both have C9ZA 5556 S 95U ,on the bottom spring, and have the original spring clamps that are a two piece type which i have not seen before, i know the guy and the history of his cars and he only owned 70 boss 302s from back in the 70s these were from one of those cars, question , what does the 95U mean is it a date code, i would like to post a picture but had no luck ,

The letter (in your case) is currently believed to be the factory that made them (we don't have a decoder yet) and the number is a Julian date
So 95 would be the 95th day of the year - 5th of April in a non-leap year
