My 67 has the competition suspension -- the big sway bar.
It has sway bar color codes yellow and green.
The green is almost a dead match for Krylon Hunter Green Satin spray. I had a can on the spray can shelf(s).
But the yellow is so faint and I have so little of it I can't match it.
Have not found all marked this way but would suggest to stay with the green and yellow if you found it that way. The yellow that I've seen on many is a paler version of the yellow we often see and paler than the yellow examples listed in the Paint Mark Article in the Library. The marking combination was used for many years and multiple applications. The picture below is an example of the yellow. Hopefully it will come across fairly true on your monitor
Where does everyone get the colors for this and the other suspension parts?
Takes me about 3-5 hours to got through all my notes, files and pictures each time. There are booklets that have been published and a couple of sites on the web but would not recommend them. Too many errors and too much mix and match for me.
The other source some use is other peoples work but lots and lots IMHO of restored cars have these details incorrect or the cars were built years ago and we've learn more since that time period. If they get the colors right then the location, method of application and even typical sizing is often off. As we've mentioned many times. Better no marks than wrong or incorrect ones since the later only leads to others copying and applying them on their cars and leaving you somewhat responsible for it
