outlawincorporated:
the image provide by RRENZ matches what I have on my unrestored 66 coupe, again a late built 66 Dearborn example

haven't seen any for sale in some time and the Autolite variation some sellers have been chasing north of $75usd for.

would there be a difference between a 66 ford supplied filter and a shelby supplied?

"would there be a difference between a 66 ford supplied filter and a shelby supplied?"

Yes.

A standard Mustang V8 would have an Autolite 2100 or Autolite 4100 Carb using a Ford Rotunda or Autolite Fuel Filter.

A '65-'66 Shelby GT-350 would normally have a Holley 715CFM carb with a different type of fuel filter for the carb.  I'm sure that Mr. Speegle can eleborate better than I on this..when he chimes in..

You are mis informed. Shelby used the same filter but also had a brass adapter to complete the installation.

Chiming in  :)  As Bob mentioned Shelby didn't use any special or different filter just an adapter to make the Mustang one fit the different (Holley) carb
