I will post a pic soon.  THe clutch I have is the one on the right in the picture on page 5-62 and 6-50 of the Mannel book.
Shaft is stamped E-C4AA-C1,
Picture b on page 6-45 and F-10 is how I intend to leave it detailed.  The finned aluminum portion is natural aluminum.
The inner 90% of the front face is gold-looking cad or zinc dichromate or whatever it's called.
I intend to make a stamp for "B21" (FEB 21, 1966) to duplicate the font and stamp the front in black.
Here's a picture of a fan/clutch removed from a 68 Cougar that I bought to get the fan.  I sold this clutch on Ebay.  My NOS E-C4AA-C1 clutch looks just like this one, except it is new and has the right Engineering Number.

Jeff I realize that you only using that pump as a example but their are others that would look at that pump and think it was correct for a Mustang. Vendors sell those pumps as being correct for Mustangs and they're not.

Yes your correct - should have added that to may response but forgot being so late.

The valve cover bolts Bryan mentions, which two get painted?
I painted all of mine, now I will have to strip some of them.

Since I have been hanging out here, I remember some pictures of unrestored cars with all painted, and some cars with 2 or more painted.

Common sense tells me that they were SUPPOSE to put in a front one and rear one diagonal from each other, just to temporarily hold the valve cover on while painting the engine.  I'm SURE that the assembly line workers didn't do such an unimportant task correctly all the time.  This probably explains the variation.
