Leaf Spring Nylon Pads

Are the nylon leaf spring pads from NPD a good choice? They appear to be made by Detroit Spring yet I cannot determine where they are manufactured.
I simply care that what I use will not crack once I've installed the spring clamps.

I installed a set on my original 70 Boss 302 rear leaf springs and have not seen any cracking or other problems.
