Topic: Flywheel question 69 351W

I purchased a 69 Mach1 with a 351 W motor from that year 1969.  This car was converted from an FMX auto to a stick.

The car has a large cast iron bellhousing  164 tooth flywheel I assume.

My problem is a pretty good engine vibration, runs well but vibrates!  Were there two 164 tooth flywheels made to fit this engine?  I am told it should have a 28oz imbalance flywheel. Is there a flywheel with zero balance with 164 tooth also?

I am "hoping" that the car has the wrong flywheel.  I already changed the damper trying to solve my problem.
any help would be greatly appreciated.   I am an auto tech with 40 years experience, so please understand my frustration

     My 69, 428, 4 speed had a vibration when I bought it.  Chased that vibration from the balancer to the 4:11's.  Turned out the clutch pressure plate was not ' 0 ' balanced.  Just my experience.  Brian

There are 28.2oz flywheels, 50oz, and Zero weight Flywheels.

What can you tell of your motor build?   Had this motor been "balanced" (you would know because it wouldn't have been free)?
Is this a "stock" OLD 351W that you just changed to a stick?

When you say "you changed the dampener" - do you mean to a 50 or Zero?  (because we are assuming it is stock 28.2)

P.S.  I assume it ran ok with the flexplate for the auto.  (did that tell you what the balance was to start buying stuff)
